‘Blazing Saddles’ named funniest film of all time by AFI as Mel Brooks turns 100

Mel Brooks, who turned 100 connected Sunday 28 June, has been honoured by the American Film Institute, which named his 1974 Western satire the "funniest movie of each time" - knocking 'Some Like It Hot' disconnected the apical spot.
